Relocation services are designed to assist international professionals in transitioning to a new place of residence or country for work purposes. We offer these services to companies that are recruiting individuals from abroad or sending employees to work in another country.

Ordering the services

Order initiation to FRS
FRS will confirm the order within 24 hours

FRS can also help with setting up the recruitment criteria, timetable, labour market testing, and answering questions already before and during the recruitment process.

Contacting the talent

FRS will set up a relocation management tool for the talent and HR

Starting the immigration process

FRS does the assessment of immigration needs
FRS informs about required documents, and talent takes care of the legalizations
FRS gives instructions to applications for a residence permit and EU registration and pre-checks the application before the talent submits it

Immigration follow-up

Residence permit decision check

Once the residence permit decision has been approved, talent can start planning the arrival to Finland. With Fast Track -process and D-visa, the talent can entry to Finland immediately. The residence permit cards can be ordered directly to Finland (either to the employee or to FRS if needed).

Assigning relocation consultant to the talent

Before arrival FRS will assign each talent their personal relocation consultant, who will guide the talent through local processes
Relocation consultant will have a pre-arrival call with talent. During that call, they will go through: the timeline for local registrations, information about local registrations and required authority processes, and instructions for needed documents and forms

A virtual home search can be done during the pre-arrival.

Arrival in Finland

If ordered, FRS will take care of the temporary accommodation and airport transfer for the talent
Local Registrations within 1-4 days from arrival (Municipality, Finnish ID Number, Tax Card, Social Security Registrations)
Bank account within 7-14 days from arrival
Accompanied home search can be done only after the arrival

Also finding an apartment would have been difficult without help, as everything was in Finnish and the procedure is different than in other countries we have lived.

Our relocation consultant found us a very nice apartment and assisted with insurance, electricity, and internet, and helped when we had troubles with the moving company, it was very helpful.
