Choose the Core Service

FRS's 'Core Service' includes all the essentials related to immigration. For Nordic Nationals, the service includes mandatory local services like registering with local authorities, obtaining a tax card, receiving healthcare and social security guidance, and opening a bank account.

With 'Accompanied Service', FRS provides in-person assistance and accompanies clients to necessary appointments for local registrations and other services.

'Unaccompanied Service' involves FRS instructing and booking appointments for the assignee but not accompanying them in person.

'The start-up Service' is for start-up entrepreneurs.

Core Services for a Family

If the main applicant has a spouse and/or children, you can choose the appropriate services accordingly.  If there are no spouse/children, choose 'No Spouse' & 'No Child'.

For the spouse, you have the option of accompanied or unaccompanied service, and you can also indicate whether they will be arriving at the same time as the main applicant.

Core services for family members include immigration services as applicable, local registrations, and social security registrations.

Temporary accommodation

We recommend adding temporary accommodation to the service package to ensure a smooth arrival. FRS will arrange a temporary accommodation reservation for the desired time period according to the assignee's needs (booking).

When the assignee has comfortable temporary accommodation waiting for them upon arrival, in a suitable location for their needs, it makes moving to a new country much easier and more pleasant.

During the temporary stay, the assignee can focus on necessary practical matters and search for a permanent rental apartment without stress.

We ensure that all accommodation options are in good condition, furnished, and suitable for local registrations so that practical matters can be handled smoothly and quickly.

We can also arrange accommodation for long-term assignments (long-term living booking [+6 months]), as well as take care of the assignee's transfer from the airport to the accommodation (booking & airport transfer).

Home Search

We can assist the transferee in finding a long-term rental home, with the option of either a virtual or accompanied home search.

The service includes information on rental practices, rent payment, lease negotiations, and pre-checking of the contract.

Also, we coordinate signing the agreement, key handovers, and take care of necessary contracts (home insurance, electricity contract, internet). We carry out a move-in inspection of the apartment, which leaves photo documentation of the apartment's condition at the time of move-in.

In the 'Accompanied home search' service, the assignee has a personal consultant who assists in the apartment search and accompanies them to the apartment viewings (3 in total). The 'Extensive accompanied home search' includes visits to six apartments.

The 'Basic virtual home search' does not include any arranged apartment viewings; instead, a suitable apartment is chosen using existing photos and videos.

The 'Virtual home search' includes the organization of three apartment viewings using video calls and videos. The 'Extensive virtual home search' includes the organization of six apartment viewings.

Virtual services can be carried out before the assignee arrives in Finland, and 'Accompanied' services can be provided after arrival in Finland.

Daycare and School Search

For transferees with children who require daycare or schooling, we highly recommend adding our school and daycare search program to their relocation package.

Finding suitable options for children is crucial to the successful integration of families, and we understand the importance of this process. Our team will provide support in applying to and selecting the most appropriate school and daycare options available.

Orientation and Local Support

Adding orientation services to the program is highly recommended to help the transferee settle in and start their new life in Finland as smoothly and quickly as possible.

The orientation includes not only an introduction to Finnish health care and the closest health station but also guidance on local stores, hobbies, and public transportation, among others, based on the transferee's interests.

By taking advantage of this service, the transferee can have peace of mind, knowing they have someone to help them navigate their new surroundings, allowing them to focus on onboarding in their new job.

'Basic Orientation' includes 3 hours of orientation, and  'Extensive Orientation' up to 6 hours.

Additional Services

You can select any other additional services as necessary. Please keep in mind that services such as Finnish ID card and driver's license exchange can also be included in the orientation. You can find more information about spouse support from here

BUDGET THE RELOCATION PROCESS

Smart budgeting prevents unpleasant surprises. When planning the budget you need to allocate for the relocation process, we recommend you include the following:

  • permit and other authority fees
  • flight and other travel costs
  • accommodation budget
  • moving costs
  • resource costs, if using an internal resource
  • supplier fees, if you choose to use a relocation service partner

Outsourcing relocation makes the process more cost-effective and low-risk for your business. Our price calculator provides an estimate of the relocation service fee. However, each case is unique and before starting the process, our specialists will make sure that you order exactly what the situation requires.
